This sucks, I'm having the same problem as I did with the trial version; it gets to the EA logo and then closes as if nothing happened.

The EA downloader opens automatically when I run the game, does that have something to do with it, like it checks the copy on EA's servers?

Me again... Seems like the EA Download Manager was the source of the problem. Uninstalled that, and the game works again.

HELP!
It says it can't find 'd3dx9_27.dll'. What does this mean? I've extracted it (by double clicking the exe) but from that point I can't get it installed. I used the reg entry, but still, when I double click the spore creature creator I get that error.

Please, someone tell me what to do, I really want to play this game.

After running the Reg Data and trying to launch the Sporebin .exe file, I continually recieve a "SPORE? Creature Creator has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" error.

alright, looks like the legit copy of the creature creator wasn't working because i had to completely delete the not legit one, but the legit one wouldn't uninstall for some unknown/unrelated reason, so I just got the revo uninstaller and now its all good. thanks for the game btw.

Torrent works fine, porstar's account doesn't work but you don't need it anyway. I really don't get why this is so downrated, it works perfectly fine and downloads quite fast. Most of the minuses must be from people who couldn't figure out how to install it. +1

ARG I really want this game but ive got a problem, I followed your instructions on how to play the game but after i run the spore reg data and click on the sporecreaturecreature.exe in the sporebin, It comes up with this error : "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. Re-instaalling the application may fix this problem." Any ideas why this is happening? Any ideas how to fix it? Would much appreciate the help :)
